What to Expect...
The Ghost Hunters Experience in Charleston offers a thrilling, hands-on experience designed to introduce you to the fascinating world of paranormal investigation.
First, you’ll learn why some people can see and sense spirits naturally, while exploring theories involving electromagnetic fields, emotional energy, and how certain locations act as spiritual “hotspots.”
Then, you’ll be introduced to your personal ghost hunting kit and taught how to operate each tool, including an EMF detector for sensing energy shifts and brass dousing rods for locating paranormal activity. You’ll also wear a protective pendant, which is believed to offer spiritual protection during investigations.
From there, you’ll venture into Charleston’s most haunted locations. During your exploration, you’ll learn how to photograph spirits using techniques to capture orbs, ghostly figures, and anomalies in low light or as a result of sudden movement.

Since paranormal entities are often believed to affect the temperature of their surroundings—either by creating cold spots or emitting unexplained heat signatures—thermal cameras can capture anomalies that might signal supernatural activity.
On The Ghost Hunter Experience, you will receive hands-on training with thermal imaging equipment. You’ll learn how to interpret the color gradients on the screen, and distinguish between natural heat sources and potential paranormal phenomena.

What a fun experience! Nathan was really good at teaching us the equipment and explaining what we were seeing at each stop. It was really amazing how the detectors would sometimes not find any energy, and in spots where they had experienced ghost images they would go crazy!

We took the ghost hunter experience with Hanah. She is such a great nice and so knowledgeable tour guide. She showed us how to use the equipment and it was very obvious when there energy right next to us. We loved the tour so much ❤️worth the time and money. ❤️
Well worth the money
I was very sceptical. But Nathan explained what was happening at every place we stopped. He showed us how to use the equipment and explained why it was reacting the way it was. It was also cool that we got our own equipment to take home. This experience is spooky, coll, and definitely 10/10.
